The Adventures of Sherlock Holmes is a free ebook with a collection of twelve stories by Sir Arthur Conan Doyle, with his famous detective and illustrated by Sidney Paget.
These are the first of the Sherlock Holmes short stories, originally published as single stories in The Strand Magazine from July 1891 to June 1892. The book was published in England October 14, 1892 by George Newnes Ltd and in a U.S. edition by Harper Oct. 15. The first print edition was 14,500 copies. These are 4 free e-book on programming that I watched recently and I have done a very good impression. It 'goes without saying that I'm going to read them all (So why write it if it is useless?)

1. Linux Hacks 101 Nice Bash and Linux tips: the little commands that make a difference.
2. Python 2.1 Bible : Even though I spent a couple of versions of Python 2.1, however I think this book is a must to start with writing in python. I just started reading it, and it is a very instructive.
I first heard about this book from a recommendation of a dear friend, but I have not opened for a long period of time. Now is a good time to start.
3. Object Oriented C : A suggestion by the same friend, I gave a quick look and it looks promising.
4. Beej 's Guide to Network Programming A book recommended in a course that I had in "Structure of Operating Systems." It covers almost everything I know (not much) on socket programming, and much more.
